HALL ANNOUNCES PRINTECH BACKING FOR CARRERA CUP DEBUT

By Timothy Neal

Bayley Hall will make his Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship debut at Albert Park with the backing of printing company Printech, revealing his new livery to mark the occasion.

The 18-year-old from the Gold Coast is stepping up from second tier series Porsche Sprint Challenge, representing powerhouse squad McElrea Racing for the 2022 season.

At 16 years of age Hall became the youngest ever driver to stand on the podium at the Bathurst 12 Hour, his best achievement to date.

It will be a round of firsts for Hall, who is taking on the first Australian race of the new 992 generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car on his debut in the series.

Aside from racing, Hall is heavily involved in charitable work as an ambassador for The Alive Project – a youth suicide prevention program. He also raised $17,000 for cancer research on the Tour de Cure Signature Tour that saw him ride 1445km from Geelong to Canberra.

“It is incredible to think that I’m about to make my Porsche Carrera Cup debut at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. It is an event that I’ve been going to since I was five years old and to be on the grid myself, is a dream come true,” Hall said.

“Even better, is that the event will be in front of a sell out Saturday and Sunday crowd, and I head into the event in peak fitness, especially after completing the 1445 kilometres on the Tour de Cure!

Printech provides full print service solutions to businesses in the photocopying and printing areas from finance right through to supply and service of machinery.

Bayley Hall’s first Carrera Cup Australia season is also backed by Financial Planning Business HFI, Queensland Marine Centre & Squadra Bespoke Luxury Car Wraps, who have made sure that Hall’s Number 28 Porsche will certainly stand out on track.

Round 1 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia will take place at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix from April 7-10.
