AUTO ACTION SCOOPS MAJOR 2019 MEDIA AWARDS

Auto Action’s commitment to comprehensive coverage has earned two major motorsport media awards confirming the publications standing in the sport.

Auto Action received a major gong at the annual Supercars Media Awards winning the award for ‘Best Publication’, a prestigious honour.

The prize was in recognition of the title’s outstanding coverage of Supercars, as voted by independent judges.

Auto Action has been published since 1971, but has recently expanded into the online field through its digital magazine website and growing social media reach, to accompany the magazine.

In recognition of this increased effort, not only was Auto Action victorious at the Supercar Media Awards, but TCR Australia also acknowledged Auto Action’s in-depth news, feature and race coverage through its inaugural Media Award.

It is a significant success for Auto Action as it is the sole surviving print- based publication covering both professional and grassroots motorsport, on an international and local scale.

In February 2020, Auto Action’s Publisher and Editorial Director, Bruce Williams was recently awarded a Motorsport Australia Media Services award for his long term commitment to the motorsport industry.

Since the relaunch, Auto Action has reached a monthly circulation of 30,000 copies of the print magazine. While the website was launched in January 2017 in now exceeding 800,000 monthly page views.
