Red Bull Ampol Racing have revealed their new look for the 2021 Supercars Championship.

As previously reported by Auto Action, Ampol (formerly Caltex) will replace Holden as co-naming rights on the #88 and #97 Holden Commodores to be raced by Jamie Whincup and Shane Van Gisbergen.
The new look also showcases backing from SuperCheap Auto as well as a Daimler Trucks, Harvey Norman and ToolPro who all join the team in 2021.
“It’s great to have Ampol deepen their commitment to the team to become co-naming rights partner for season 2021 and beyond.” said Whincup at the unveiling.
“They’re an iconic Australian fuel and convenience company that are driven by high-performance, which aligns to our team values. We’re proud to partner with them as they revitalise the Ampol brand.”
“I think the car looks fantastic too. It’s pretty out there and there’s quite a bit going on, but we’re not trying to be the quiet achievers and I think the car suits our style.”

Triple Eight co-driver Craig Lowndes stood in for Van Gisbergen who was unable to be at the launch due to a late change in the Australian and New Zealand travel bubble.
“Ampol is focused on delivering world-class fuels that support better journeys for all Australians. To see the Ampol brand return to Supercars as co-naming rights partner of Red Bull Ampol Racing is a great alignment of the performance our fuel delivers.” said Joanne Taylor, Ampol’s Executive General Manager – Retail, Brand and Culture.
“We look forward to further building our partnership with the team and see Jamie and Shane take to the track under the new Red Bull Ampol Racing banner in 2021.”
The new Red Bull Ampol Racing livery will make its racing debut next month at the opening round of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship at Mount Panorama on February 26 – 28.

'description' => 'The Supercars Championship, currently known as the Repco Supercars Championship, is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia\'s biggest sports. It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
The Supercars Championship has grown to become a globally recognized series, known for its competitive racing and passionate fan base. It continues to be a major part of Australia\'s motorsport culture, attracting top drivers and teams from around the world.',
