Casha to take on Porsche Sprint Challenge

Exciting young talent Ryan Casha has announced his entry into the 2025 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Championship, reuniting with DNA Autosport.
Casha took out the Toyota 86 series in 2023 with a dominant year, taking four wins and ten podiums to signal his arrival on the Australian motorsport scene.
The Queenslander (who also featured in AUTO ACTION’s Young Gun’s) then went on to tackle the TCR Australia series with Garry Rogers Motorsport in 2024, taking a win and some podiums in his Peugeot 308 TCR, as well as taking on his second Bathurst 6 Hour.

Casha will reunite with the DNA Autosports team for the 2025 Sprint Challenge
Now he returns with DNA Autosport, the team he won the TGR 86 series with, and is hoping to replicate that winning feeling amongst a talented field in the second tier one make Porsche series.
“This year I am racing in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Championship with DNA Autosport,” Casha said.
“I’m overjoyed by the opportunity to reunite with the team we had so much success with in the Toyota 86 Series in 2023 and I’m eager to replicate that championship winning feeling again in 2025.
“This season will be exciting, as Porsche always hosts a strong depth of talent in the Sprint Challenge.”
After spending a year learning from the GRM program and rising star Aaron Cameron, Casha felt he needed a change to advance his career.
“Last year was a great experience for myself and to be able to learn off the likes of Aaron Cameron and to find some success, made it enjoyable,” he continued.
“However I felt like I needed a change heading into 2025 and DNA afforded me that option.
“I can’t thank Barry and Garry and the rest of the crew at GRM enough for what they did for me last year. Especially my engineer Timmy who really helped develop me as a driver and person over a short 12 months and to secure that race win at home with those boys was a feeling like no other.
“I’m more focused and prepared than ever to hunt those trophies down this season and will be doing everything I can to work with our partners to make it a memorable year.”
The Porsche Sprint Challenge kicks off on April 4-6 at the Island as part of a six round season, which also includes a couple of dates on the Supercars calendar.
