F1 commentator David Croft coming to Adelaide

The familiar voice of David Croft will be heard around the South Australian capital when the Formula 1 commentator comes to the 2024 Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

Croft will be a guest star on Sunday, March 17 of the event which will be held at the former home of the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix from 1985 to 1994.

During the day Croft will host a special interview with Sauber star Valtteri Bottas, while after the AMF he will also lead the “The Crafty Show” at the Arkaba Hotel.

After starting out on radio in 2006, Croft has been the voice of Formula 1 since 2012 when Sky Sports F1 took over the host rights.

With the Sky commentary also being beamed back to Australia, he along with Martin Brundle has been the team that has called all the famous moments from the likes of Mark Webber, Daniel Ricciardo, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen on both Channel 10 and Fox Sports for the last 12 years.

Croft and Bottas will be just some of the F1 style attractions at the 2024 Adelaide Motorsport Festival with a number of Grand Prix cars also anticipated to roar around Victoria Park on March 16-17.
