Cameron Crick has been retained as the fourth and final part of Eggleston Motorsport’s squad for the 2023 Super2 Series.
The 25-year-old joins rising rookie Kai Allen, ex Porsche driver Cooper Murray, who is refreshed after a year away from racing and former Formula Ford driver Jordyn Sinni in the Holden team.
The squad which won the 2014 Super2 title with Paul Dumbrell, will continue to race with the Holden badge and has two 2022 Team 18 ZB Commodores in the garage with Crick to drive Mark Winterbottom’s car #18.
Unlike his three teammates, Crick has Super2 experience under his belt racing in the second tier category last year and outscored his teammate Matthew McLean by 177 points to finish 12th.
The second generation racer and former SuperUtes race winner said he is ready to “come out swinging” after a busy off season.
“Stoked to have re-signed with our close friends at Eggleston Motorsport for the 2023 Super2 Series,” he said on social media.
“(I) will be driving in a ZB Commodore which was in the main series last year. Thank you to all of my loyal supporters for making this a reality.
“We have put in a huge amount of work in the background to come out swinging this year and will be pushing hard from the get go. Bring it on.”

Eggleston Motorsport released the news via social media and said it is looking forward to building on the lessons learnt from Crick’s maiden campaign.
“Cam is back! Cameron will suit up for a second season in Super2 in 2023,” the statement read.
“The first year is always a learning year and we are stoked that we get to convert what Cam has learnt into some solid results and be up at the pointy end where he deserves to and can be.
“The hardest working driver we have met in putting his loyal sponsor group and entire program together. Proud to have you in the EMS family.”
In addition to the four-car Super2 program, Eggleston Motorsport will continue in the Super3 Series with Kiwi Matthew Mccutcheon to race a VF Commodore.
Both series will kick off alongside Supercars at the Thrifty Newcastle 500 on March 10-12.

'description' => 'The Supercars Championship, currently known as the Repco Supercars Championship, is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia\'s biggest sports. It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
The Supercars Championship has grown to become a globally recognized series, known for its competitive racing and passionate fan base. It continues to be a major part of Australia\'s motorsport culture, attracting top drivers and teams from around the world.',
