“It’s clear this year’s VALO Adelaide 500 is a return to the event’s glory days,” Slade said.
“The driver signing session in Rundle Mall was an iconic event on the Adelaide 500 schedule for many years and it’s fantastic to see it make its return for Adelaideans to enjoy again.
“South Australians are so passionate about this race and I think I can speak for all drivers when I say we can’t wait to be back amongst it for the VALO Adelaide 500 next week.”
A display of Supercars that will be lining up on the Grid for the season finale will also be on display for fans to get up and close to their favourite V8’s.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot in the line and don their favourite Holden and Ford merchandise to show their true colours as the sport’s iconic rivalry draws to a close.
On Tuesday, the VALO Adelaide 500 will officially kick into gear as the Supercars Transporter Parade embarks on its journey through Adelaide.
Special guests will feature in the parade including South Australian driver Todd Hazelwood and motorsport commentator Matt Naulty aboard the VALO Adelaide 500 Ford Mustang.

Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
