New Formula Ford season set

The 2025 Australian Formula Ford Series championship calendar has been set with six rounds scheduled.
It is a slight reduction from the 2024 season won by Edison Beswick with Mount Panorama and Symmons Plains dropping off.
However, the prestigious open-wheel category will go racing at the new South Australian circuit The Bend Motorsport Park.
The 2025 season starts with a Victorian double header at Winton in April before heading to the sweeping Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit a month later.
The field then heads north to Queensland’s Morgan Park Raceway for the halfway mark of the season.
Sydney Motorsport Park remains a staple of the calendar before the familiar trip to Sandown, which remains the penultimate round of the season.
The 2025 season will be decided with a finale at the Bend Motorsport Park where a new champion will be crowned.
All six rounds will be staged on state rounds, including the NSW, Victorian, Queensland and South Australian championships.
The Australian Formula Ford Series remains one of the nation’s biggest talent factories.
Previous Supercars champions Jamie Whincup, Garth Tander, Craig Lowndes and Russell Ingall all kick-started their careers with national Formula Ford titles.
