Rullo to drive Lambo

Alex Rullo Lamborghini

By Thomas Miles

Former Supercars driver turned rally star Alex Rullo will take on his next test at the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge this weekend.

Rullo will drive an aggressive-looking Lamborghini Gallardo for IntelliSpatial Fleetcare Racing in the EMTRON Pro Class.

The event that keeps growing takes over Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend for two massive days.

Rullo and IntelliSpatial Fleetcare Racing are determined to get their hands on the overall win, being in the outright class that a final shootout will decide.

Built by Josh Gardner, the white Lamborghini will be a serious weapon.

The twin-turbo 5.2L V10 is capable of producing 1500HP with a full suite of MoTeC electronics tuned by Racetech Performance.

The bespoke MCA Suspension will provide plenty of grip and drivability, while the significant aero package provides maximum downforce with huge front and rear wings.

WTAC’s CEO, Ian Baker expects to see the Lamborghini to be fighting at the top of the timesheets.

“The EMTRON Pro Class is where legends are made, and this new entry from IntelliSpatial Fleetcare Racing has all the ingredients to be a serious challenger,” he said.

“The combination of top-tier hardware and a driver with Alex Rullo’s proven talent is exactly what our fans love to see.”
