Team 18 celebrates special partnership
Team 18 has made a slight tweak to Mark Winterbottom’s Darwin livery as it celebrates a decade with FUCHS.
Winterbottom’s #18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will feature a tribute bonnet showcasing the Team 18 and FUCHS logos, accompanied by a ’10 Years Together’ message.
This will be shown not only the following Darwin Triple Crown, but also the Townsville, Sydney and Symmons Plains events.
The partnership began back in 2015 when Lee Holdsworth raced for Team 18 in a Walkinshaw supported VF Commodore.
Since then FUCHS has been seen on every step of the team’s journey from its move to Mount Waverley in 2017 and the expansion to two cars in 2020.
“I’m honoured to race with the tribute bonnet celebrating ten years of partnership with FUCHS,” Winterbottom said.
“Their support has been phenomenal both on and off the track. We rely on their oils and lubricants to power our DEWALT Camaro, and they have an incredible customer network that we engage with across the country at the races.
“This tribute definitely gives us an extra boost to perform at our best for everyone at FUCHS.”
“FUCHS has been an outstanding partner for Team 18, and I’m extremely proud to celebrate our 10-year partnership with this tribute bonnet on Frosty’s Camaro for the next four events,” Team 18 owner Charlie Schwerkolt said.
“Our journey together began in 2015 with my customer entry and then a foundation partner of the team since.”
Team 18 will go testing today in preparation for the Darwin Triple Crown on June 14-16.
