Perkins pair chat racing and life with Rodney Jane

A pair of legendary racing families have sat down for a special chat about life and racing with Larry and Jack Perkins joined by Bob Jane T-Marts CEO Rodney Jane.
All three remain familiar faces in the Australian motorsport world and caught up to discuss a variety of topics on and off the track.
Larry Perkins is one of the most famous names in the sport being a six times Bathurst 1000 winner with three in a row alongside Peter Brock at HDT, whilst the rest were with the team bearing his own name in the nineties.
In addition to his famous feats at Mount Panorama and in Supercars, Perkins also started 11 Formula 1 Grands Prix between 1974 and 1977.
Larry has since passed the baton to son Jack, who now has 18 Great Race starts next to his name with one podium achieved in 2019.
After three years at Erebus Motorsport, he will return to the blue oval and race for Blanchard Racing Team in the 2024 enduros.
Rodney Jane also has plenty of racing experience under his belt being a second generation driver following his father the famous Rodney Jane.
Whilst the trio spoke about racing, they also discussed hobbies off the track and the current state of the Bob Jane T-Marts brand – now over 50 years young.
