Fisichella’s S5000 livery for the Adelaide 500

Former Italian F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella will take to the streets of Adelaide sporting a striking S5000 livery for the VALO Adelaide 500.
The red, black and silver colour scheme includes major backing from the event’s naming-rights sponsors VALO.
Fisichella will take on Gold Coast’s Tasman series winner Nathan Herne, in a big test for the young gun who seems to win in everything he puts his backside in.
Current Gold Star Champion Joey Mawson comes to the Tasman series closer with a score to settle with Herne, and the category says farewell (in a full-time driving capacity) to S5000 pioneer Tim Macrow.

Founded in 2012, VALO is an Australian advanced technology company with its core in ultra-high-performance LED lighting.
Other brands supporting the Italian this weekend include IKARA, Vircura and the Monarto Innovation Precinct.
Fisichella, who will drive for Adelaide-based Team BRM this weekend, arrived in Adelaide first thing this morning, and had his first look of the resurfaced Adelaide circuit this afternoon during the track walk.

He will join 14 other S5000s on track for the first practice session on Thursday morning, commencing at 10:10am local time.
