The 2022 Supercars Championship draft calendar has been revealed and contains 13 rounds from early March to mid-November.

The Gold Coast’s street circuit event will be brought back to life, returning in it’s traditional slot as the post-Bathurst event, next year running as a 500km race.
It is planned that Supercars will also travel overseas for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak, returning to the popular Pukekohe Park in Auckland in September.
Perth is set to host the opening night race of 2022 from April 30 – May 1, while a night race at Sydney Motorsport Park will conclude the season on November 20. The venue last hosted the Supercars decider in 2004.

“It has been fantastic to welcome fans back to events this year, and we will continue to ensure this is done safely and in line with national guidelines as we welcome more fans back in 2022.
“We are very pleased with the interest in Supercars growing continuously through large audiences watching our world-class broadcast and a significant growth of our presence online across the globe.”
Notably Round 3 will see the return of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix at which Supercars will be on track for over three days of the event.
The 2022 Repco Supercars Championship will be the first for Supercars under the new ownership group Racing Australia Consolidated Enterprises Ltd (RACE).
One event in July will be listed as TBC as Supercars remains in discussions continue with the circuit providers on the event to be held on that date.
Supercars is working closely with Tony Quinn at Queensland Raceway on preparations to return to racing at the Ipswich circuit in the future.
The second-tier Super2 Series will be run over six rounds, Newcastle, Perth, Townsville, Sandown, Bathurst before concluding at Sydney.
Supercars will continue work on 2022 event formats and support categories for each event with details to be released over coming weeks.
