Jayden Ojeda had a mathematical chance to overall Feeney if the latter suffered a DNF but contact with Ojeda Nissan Altima teammate Tyler Everingham off the start put both out of the race and instigated the first of three safety cars.

Safety car number two came when Jaylyn Robotham beached his VF at Murrays Corner, and the third, under which the race concluded, was for Steven Page who hit the wall on top of the mountain and ended up in the tyres at McPhillamy Park.

Third place went to Aaron Seton (VF) ahead of Zak Best (Falcon FG/X), Matt Payne (Altima), Matt McLean (VF) and Matt Chahda (FG/X). Blake Fardell (VE) was second in Super3 ahead of Morris, Michael Anderson (FG), Jim Pollicina (VE) and David Murphy (FG).
