TCR Australia and S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship team Garry Rogers Motorsport has put an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce up for sale.

The car has been raced by Jordan Cox this year in the 2021 TCR Australia Series, in which the former Improved Production driver has won two races.

Along with the two victories Cox has recorded a further two podiums and sits eighth in the TCR Australia standings.

Garry Rogers Motorsport Director Barry Rogers explained that the car has gone up for sale as of the GRM drivers will move into a new Alfa Romeo for the 2022 season.

“We’ve still got a brand new, unraced Alfa Romeo here and I thought there was no point advertising at the end of the year when it’s too late for someone to grab a hold of it for next season, hence why we’ve put it on the market,” Rogers said.

“The car (up for sale) is one of the original Alfa Romeos we bought back in 2019.

“The car has been fully maintained by Garry Rogers Motorsport. It’s fresh in all its areas; the engines done 3000km, gearbox and all the other running gear is all ready to go.”

Rogers emphasised that it is a proven front running car with race winning potential.

“It’s a race winning car,” he expressed. “It’s a good package for someone to get a hold of and join the TCR Australia grid.

“You’ll hit the ground running with that car.

“If it doesn’t sell, we’ll press on still with Jordan in that car.

“We just see it as an opportunity to get someone else involved and into an Alfa.”
