Fox Sports’ comprehensive coverage of Supercars will be available free at selected events this year.

No-cost coverage starts this weekend on Seven and Foxtel’s Kayo Sports with the season-opening Mount Panorama 500.
Kayo free access is going ahead after a dispute with free to air broadcast partner Seven over streaming rights was resolved.
The Bathurst coverage will be simulcast on Channel 7 and Fox Sports, and also streamed on 7+ and Kayo Sports.
It has been confirmed that Foxtel’s sports streaming service Kayo will allow fans to watch this weekend’s Mount Panorama 500 without the normal monthly charge.
By singing up, fans can view the same broadcast as seen on subscription channel Fox Sports, showing live track action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The free coverage is part of the Kayo Freebies promotion, which is allowing access to selected sports.
It starts tomorrow (Thursday) and extents across this weekend, including the Mount Panorama 500.
Fox Sports’ Bathurst coverage on Kayo will be from 11.30 am AEDT on Friday, 9.10 am AEDT Saturday and 9.10 am AEDT Sunday.
AUTO ACTION has learned that Kayo Sport’s free Supercars coverage will align with most of the events that free TV partner Seven will be showing live.
As well as Bathurst this weekend, Channel 7 – and streaming service 7+ – will show the Darwin Triple Crown, Townsville 500, Sydney SuperNight, Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 500 live.
AA revealed Seven’s live Supercars events schedule yesterday (Tuesday).
October’s marquee Bathurst 1000 is likely to be excluded from the Kayo Sports deal, which Seven disputed.
But after tense talks, Seven accepted that limited free coverage of simulcast events by Kayo Sports was part of the new $200 million 2021-25 broadcast deal, dominated by Fox Sports.
It is believed the Bathurst 1000 is excluded from the Kayo free streaming deal, although 7+ rights for the big event are unclear.
Fox Sports will be covering all the track action live at all 12 scheduled Supercars events, with Seven showing six events in real time on its main channel.
Channel 7’s free live coverage will be limited to around five hours on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons of the six events apart from the October 8-10 Bathurst 1000, which it will show from the Friday.
Fans can access Kayo Freebies by downloading the Kayo Sports app or visiting the website – kayosports.com.au/freebies – and registering for a Freebies account. No credit card details are required to register and start streaming.

It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
