If this weekend’s Darwin Triple Crown happens, the broadcast coverage will very different.

AUTO ACTION has leaned that Fox Sports’ telecast will be a combination of live and remote reporting.
Jessica Yates will anchor the coverage from Sydney alongside commentators Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife.
Craig Lowndes and Mark Larkham are due to be live from Hidden Valley Raceway.
Channel 10’s live free-to-air coverage on Saturday and Sunday will be presented on-site by Scott McKinnon, with Will Davison joining as expert analyst.
Assuming the Darwin Triple Crown goes ahead, the broadcast commentary team will be split between Sydney and Darwin because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Teams are still waiting for the go-ahead to cross the Queensland/Northern Territory border.
NT declared at the end of last week that arrivals from declared Brisbane hot spots would have to isolate for two weeks.
Supercars has been trying to work out a deal with NT authorities to allow the teams, most of which have been based in southeast Queensland for the past two weeks, to enter the Top End region
A charter flight from Brisbane to Darwin for team personnel and Supercars officials has been put off again, now rescheduled to 8 am on Friday.
As things stand, Queensland-based Lowndes and Larkham can travel to Darwin because they live outside the Brisbane hot spots.
Sydney based Yates and Crompton are staying at home, while Skaife has been with friends in the Harbour City since last month’s return round at Sydney Motor Sport Park.
Yates, Crompton and Skaife will call the racing from Fox Sports’ studios in north Sydney, linking with Lowndes and Larkham at the track.
Channel 10’s live FTA coverage will see Sydney’s McKinnon and Gold Coaster Davison top-and-tail the Supercars-produced telecast of the racing.
Supercars is expected to announce the fate of the Darwin double-header later today.
The Darwin Triple Crown is scheduled for this weekend, followed by the Darwin SuperSprint a week later on August 14-16.
Renewed coronavirus restrictions have thrown the Supercars calendar into chaos, with the October 8-11 Bathurst 1000 looming as the final round.

It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
