Last years series champion, David Sieders makes a one off return to the V8 Utes field this weekends round at Queensland Raceway.

Sieders will lead an expanded six car effort from the Sieders Racing Team, this weekend with Mathew Nolan and Ben Dunn also joining the team for the weekend. Craig Dontas who re-joined the team for Townsville will sit out this weekend and return for the next round.

As previously reported by Auto Action, Scotty Cameron will take over the McHitch Ute from Richard Mork for the weekend.

While Jonathan Bloxsom will make his V8 Ute series debut, driving Luke Spalding’s BestJet Ute. The car which will continue to pay tribute to the young cancer victim, will run exactly as Spalding last drove it at Winton last year before losing his battle with cancer.

Peter Burnitt also joins the 18 car field for the weekend. Mason Barbera also returns after focusing on his Dunlop Super2 duties in Townsville.
