McLeod set for Indy GT4 attack with Ford junior Noaker

McLeod win at Le Mans in a Ford Mustang

Cameron McLeod will race the No. 60 KohR Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4 at Indianapolis this weekend alongside Ford Performance junior Robert Noaker. The pair debuts in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.

The outing is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 120, a two-hour race on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn layout. KohR fields two Mustangs in the series, with the No. 60 used to graduate young talent from the Dark Horse R ranks.

“It will be really good,” McLeod said. “Pairing up with Robert Noaker, probably one of the real good young guns coming up through the Ford Junior ranks, which is really cool. I cannot wait, I am really excited.”

McLeod and Noaker went wheel to wheel at June’s Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational. Nowaker, one of six inaugural Ford Performance Junior Team drivers, is the 2024 Mustang Challenge Dark Horse champion, clinching and defending at COTA, and has 13 wins from 22 since 2024 with one round to go at the Charlotte ROVAL.

“The opportunity to run the Ford Mustang GT4 is unbelievable,” Noaker said. “Cameron and I battled at Le Mans; now we are teammates working to the same goal. It is both of our debuts, we will set realistic expectations, but we will still be going for the win.”

McLeod added, “I will be soaking it up and doing everything I can to get a result. Race miles are good.”
