Supercars coming back to Adelaide Festival

2014 Craig Lowndes at Adelaide festival

By Thomas Miles

It is a big weekend for South Australian motorsport and the 2026 Adelaide Motorsport Festival has not missed out.

The event has revealed that the ever-popular Supercars category will return to thrill fans at the February 28 to March 1 event.

Not only that, but one of the biggest parts of the class itself will have a presence on and off the track.

Eggleston Motorsport will be the naming rights partner of the Supercars category at the 2026 edition.

It is fitting, given Eggleston fields a large portion of the cars that will fill that class.

The Super2 team also runs and restores numerous classic V8 Supercars from Peter Brock HRT Commodores from the 1990s to Triple Eight chassis in the 2010s.

For Ford fans they also have the Castrol Tony Longhurst Falcon.

The team restored the 1996 Bathurst 1000 winner of Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy.

Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes, drift cars and more.

The event is held on the Victoria Park section of the famous Adelaide Parklands Street Circuit.

Tickets are already on sale now.
