New name for Enduro Cup

There is a new name for the next phase of the Supercars Championship, which will now be known as the Ryco Supercars Enduro Cup.
The Ryco Enduro Cup makes a comeback, having not been seen since 2019, with the highest points scorer across the AirTouch 500 at The Bend (12-14 September) and Repco Bathurst 1000 (9-12 October) events lifting the trophy.
It will be known as the Ryco Supercars Enduro Cup until the 2027 season.
RYCO has worked closely with Supercars, engine builders and race teams to develop an advanced range of oil, air and fuel filters for the new Gen3 race cars, which debuted in 2023 and are run on each car.
“RYCO is steadfast in supporting the leading motorsport code in Australia and New Zealand, and we couldn’t be more excited to join the Supercars Championship as naming rights partner of the Enduro Cup,” Tony Sullivan, General Manager of Sales & Marketing at RYCO, said.
“This is a huge moment for us, and a perfect fit given our focus on endurance, innovation and performance. We can’t wait for lights out at The Bend and to see who lifts the trophy at Bathurst.”

Supercars Chief Revenue Officer Jamie Black said it is a right fit.
“The Enduro Cup is one of the toughest prizes to win in Australian sport,” he said.
“You’ve got two drivers, one car, and some of the biggest challenges in motorsport – and only the most complete teams come out on top.
“RYCO’s commitment to excellence and innovation makes them the ideal partner for this endurance showdown, and we’re thrilled to see RYCO step up as the Enduro Cup makes its much-anticipated return.”
When the Enduro Cup was previously held from 2013-2019 it was backed by Pirtek, but disappeared in 2020 when COVID ensured only one enduro could be held for the next three years.
Although the Sandown 500 returned in 2023, the Ryco Enduro Cup makes a welcome return in 2025 as part of the new Finals series.

'description' => 'The Supercars Championship, currently known as the Repco Supercars Championship, is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia\'s biggest sports. It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
The Supercars Championship has grown to become a globally recognized series, known for its competitive racing and passionate fan base. It continues to be a major part of Australia\'s motorsport culture, attracting top drivers and teams from around the world.',
