Brown to make NASCAR Xfinity debut

Will Brown getting ready for NASCAR debut

By Thomas Miles

Will Brown will make a NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at the end of the month when he heads to Portland Raceway.

Brown already has two NASCAR Cup Series starts under his belt at Sonoma last year and Chicago last month.

The Triple Eight Supercars champion will again join Kaulig Racing and will steer a #11 Chevrolet Camaro in the August 30 meeting.

It means Brown will go head-to-head with Jack Perkins in an all-Aussie battle over in America.

Brown and Perkins are very familiar with each other, given they raced alongside one another in the Supercars enduros from 2021 to 2023, where they started the Sandown 500 from pole.

The race falls nicely between the Ipswich and Bend Supercars events.

“Very excited to be racing NASCAR again with Kaulig Racing,” Brown wrote on social media.

“Looking forward to having a crack at the Xfinity Series.”

This weekend Brown will be racing his Triple Eight Camaro around Queensland Raceway, while NASCAR heads to Watkins Glen.
