But it will now be his enduro co-driver who will be in the hot seat at Albert Park.

It completes a story of patience and perseverance for Cameron, who has achieved his Supercars dream via a unique route.
He has taken part in no less than 11 different championships ranging from traditional pathway categories such as Super2 and Formula Ford to TCR, S5000, 24H Touring Car Endurance Series and most recently Formula Regional Middle East.
Cameron has two Supercars starts under his belt having partnered Love at Sandown and Bathurst last year where they finished 17th and 23rd.
This opportunity arrived in the same year where he impressed many to finish second in Super2 and claim the Mike Kable Young Gun Award.
Now his time has come to live another dream, driving a solo Supercars meeting this weekend.
“I can’t wait for my solo Supercars start this weekend, it was a bit unexpected to get the call up but I am ready to get into it,” he said.
“I know the team well from last year, I drove the car at the pre-season test and have worked with my Race Engineer Daniel Veronese in Super 2 last year, so feel as prepared as I can in a situation like this.”
Whilst it has only been stated Cameron is confirmed for the Melbourne SuperSprint, BRT co-principal Tim Blanchard suggested Cameron will be seen beyond round 2.
“Aaron did a fantastic job for BRT last year and we are looking forward to continuing the relationship this year from the AGP onwards” he said.
It is fitting Cameron will make his solo debut alongside James Courtney after driving for his karting team in his formative years where he won the 2018 Australian KZ2 Karting Championship.
In addition to last year’s enduros, Cameron was always in line to drive the #3 Mustang at some stage.
Despite not picking up a return to Super2, he was originally going to partner Love in the enduros again and has already got laps of the 2025 Ford at pre-season testing.

'description' => 'The Supercars Championship, currently known as the Repco Supercars Championship, is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia\'s biggest sports. It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
