Australian Formula 4 calendar confirmed

The Australian Formula 4 Championship will return in 2025 and there will be more racing thanks to an expanded calendar.
After five years away, the Australian Formula 4 Championship returned this year with AGI Sport’s James Piszcyk dominating.
The inaugural season was held over four rounds at The Bend, Sydney Motorsport Park and Malaysia’s famous Sepang Circuit.
But the follow up in 2025 will be even bigger, taking place over five rounds that are all in Australia.
The exact dates are yet to be confirmed, but it will start in March at Sydney Motorsport Park.
A doubleheader at The Bend Motorsport Park then follows with the first trip in May before round 3 in July.
For the first time in its current guise, F4 will go racing around the sweeping seaside venue Phillip Island in August.
The chequered flag will then wave where it all began, at SMP in September.
The calendar is not the only change that is coming in 2025.

The cars will also be split into separate classes.
With the championship aimed at being a development category and proving a pathway to open wheel racing, the overall Australian F4 title is only ligible for drivers in Generation 2 cars only.
Masters Cups will be awarded amongst Gen 1 and Gen 2 runners aged 18 and over, while the Junior Cup will be limited to drivers aged 14–17 in Gen 1 cars only.
The 2025 Australian Formula 4 Championship will also be the first promoted by AGI Sport after this year’s was run by Top Speed.
