Stable Australian Rally Championship calendar

The Australian Rally Championship will carry a stable calendar into 2025, with all six events returning.

The order of 2024 has been retained with the season opening at Canberra in March before heading to Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and finally Tasmania in November.

Whilst the calendar is very similar, the most significant change to the 2025 calendar is the slightly earlier start.

After the 2024 season did not begin until April, 2025 will fire up a fortnight earlier on March 21-23.

However, the Rally of Canberra is the only event subject to finalisation of agreement with the event promoter.

The Forest Rally, Rally Queensland and Gippsland Rally events are more or less on the same weekend.

But the Adelaide Hills Rally and Rally Tasmania events will be held roughly a month earlier than 2024.

“This year’s Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship has been a huge success and with two exciting rounds there’s plenty to look forward to in 2024 before the attention shifts to 2025,” Motorsport Australia General Manager – Motorsport and Events Adrian Coppin said.

“We were eager to release this calendar now to provide some clarity around plans for next season and also provide both existing and new teams with plenty of opportunity to plan their motorsport seasons.

“The six events we have on the calendar in 2024 are a perfect mix of rallies so it makes sense for us to keep that consistency and momentum going heading into the next season.

“All of us at Motorsport Australia are eagerly anticipating an exciting season and can’t wait to see the new cars and teams that will join the existing established teams in what is a thriving Championship.”

2025 Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship Calendar

Round 1: Rally of Canberra – 21-23 March*

Round 2: Forest Rally – 23-25 May

Round 3: Rally Queensland – 4-6 July

Round 4: Gippsland Rally – 8-10 August

Round 5: Adelaide Hills Rally – 3-5 October

Round 6: Rally Tasmania – 7-9 November

*Event subject to finalisation of agreement with event promoter
