Excitement building for AORC

By Auto Action

Attention is turning to a new Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) season after the announcement of a new naming rights partner.

BFGoodrich returns as the backer of the AORC having also been the naming rights sponsor between 2017 and 2022.

Motorsport Australia CEO Sunil Vohra was pleased to have BFGoodrich back in the AORC.

“To have BFGoodrich return to the AORC as the major partner is a huge result for the championship and we’re absolutely thrilled to be working with them in 2024,” Vohra said.

“The AORC is one of Motorsport Australia’s biggest assets in off road, it’s fantastic to not have just secured a naming rights sponsor for the season, but to have the calibre of BFGoodrich is important.

“It’s an enormous boost for the championship, and I thank the team at BFGoodrich for their decision to support the news ahead of what should be a big season.”

Last year Travis Robinson and Andrew Pinto drove their way to the crown last year and will be the ones to beat in 2024.

The 2024 BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship season begins with the Pooncarie Desert Dash in Pooncarie on 19-21 April.

2024 AORC Calendar

Round 1: Pooncarie Desert Dash April 19-21

Round 2: Finke Desert Race June 7-10

Round 3: Loved 400 July 26-28

Round 4: Gold City 450 August 30-September 1
