AHEAD of the Porsche Carrera Cup, driver Dylan O’Keeffe has shared his car’s new Dexion Racing look.

Supported by returning engineer Rob Palermo, the Carrera Cup sixth-season competitor has a goal to win the series in 2024

“Rob and I understand one another really well, and last year we unlocked some great speed from the car, especially in the second half of the season,” O’Keeffe said.

“Over the last couple of seasons, we’ve always had decent qualifying speed but during the off-season we identified a couple of weaknesses, and one of those was my speed on cold tyres.

“I’ve always right-foot braked in the Porsche, but this season I’m going to change to left-foot braking, which will allow me to balance the car more precisely during those early race laps where car finesse is so critical.

“Heading into 2024 with the same driver-engineer combination will allow us to carry some momentum into the new season and build upon everything we learned last year.”

The Porsche Carrera Cup kicks off later this month at Albert Park, Melbourne as part of the Australian Grand Prix program, running Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 March.

Hooray, F1 is back. Boo, Max Verstappen wins. The Bahrain Grand Prix was a little underwhelming, but at least there was racing… and scandal. There was plenty of scandel, but we don’t do that stuff apparently, so we don’t talk about Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner and Jos Verstappen.
