It has been a memorable day at Calder Park as Ford teams Walkinshaw Andretti United and Tickford gave some special guests a taste of Supercars.
Chaz Mostert’s car #25 and Cameron Waters’ #6 Monster Mustang still in its victorious Ken Block tribute livery used at Adelaide were used to perform the hot laps at the revived Melbourne circuit.

The day included an appearance of Ford CEO Jim Farley, who has made the trip across the Pacific from America to Australia and he enjoyed a first hand glimpse of Supercars by driving a Mustang himself in the slippery conditions.
Kay Hart, President of Ford International Markets Group, and Mark Rushbrook, Global Director of Ford Performance Motorsport were also in attendance.

The day was focused around a competition run by Ford and Geelong Geelong Cats for service as part of the club’s official cheer squad with the prize some Supercars hot laps held at Calder.
It is not the first time Supercars have blasted around Calder Park since its comeback with Erebus Motorsport performing a test just prior to the VAILO Adelaide 500 finale.
