Honda and D’Alberto stick together for 2024

Tony D’Alberto will continue representing Honda in the 2024 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia series with a factory backed drive for Wall Racing.
D’Alberto has been representing Honda Australia since he entered the category in its inaugural year 2019 with Wall Racing.
For the first three he raced a Civic Type R TCR (FK8) including 2022 when he went all the way to the top and took the championship.

This year D’Alberto put in a late charge to finish second in the standings in a title defence that included debuting the new Honda Civic Type R FL5 at the penultimate round at Sydney.
Having shown hot pace in the car at Mount Panorama where he took pole and the round win, D’Alberto is looking forward to continuing his connection with the famous Japanese brand.
“It’s fantastic to continue with the great support from Honda Australia for the 2024 TCR Australia Series,” said D’Alberto.
“We have achieved some amazing results over the journey, including winning the title in 2022 and finishing second on two other occasions.

“The 2024 season is shaping up to be very competitive, as it always is in TCR, so I’m looking forward to getting back into it for the first round at Sandown.”
To mark the announcement D’Alberto drove the new Type R FL5 road car around the Bend Motorsport Park.
With the Wall Racing driver finishing in the top two in three of the four TCR Australia campaigns, Honda Australia Director Carolyn McMahon is delighted to continue the support.
“Honda has a rich history in motorsport and we are thrilled to continue to support Tony in the driver’s seat of the Honda Civic Type R FL5,” she said.

“Our commitment to Tony and the team in 2024 underscores Honda Australia’s association with high-performance cars both on and off the track.”
The 2024 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia season begins at Sandown on February 9-11.
