It’s race week in Melbourne with Formula One, Two, Three and Australia’s Supercars hitting the Albert Park Street Circuit for the Australian Grand Prix event. But what can we expect?

Auto Action’s Andrew Clarke, Paul Gover and Bruce Williams tell you what they think and – hint – PG’s not a fan of #F2 and #F3 coming here.

Williams is on the fence, and Clarke is a fan. Regardless, it is going to be great to see if Jack Doohan can win an F2 race and how will Hugh Barter, Tommy Smith and Christian Mansell go in F3 as all four try to follow in our new F1 star – Oscar Piastri’s – footsteps.

Formula 1 is on our doorstep once again with another record crowd expected to swam Albert Park for the 26th Melbourne Grand Prix.

There are plenty of reasons to get excited ahead of the big race with a new Aussie to cheer for in Oscar Piastri, a resurgent veteran driving an underdog to unexpected success, an intriguing inter-team rivalry at the front of the grid, plus a competitive midfield just some of the storylines.

Australian Grand Prix Event Formula 1

Supercars may not be the biggest show in Albert Park, but round 2 the 2023 Championship could be one of the most pivotal of the year.

Although the Gen3 Supercars era kicked into gear at Newcastle, the more flowing 5.3km circuit located in the heart of Melbourne will provide a greater reflection of where the new Chevrolet Camaros and Ford Mustangs sit aerodynamically.
