RevLimiter repackaged for 2023 with Auto Action

By Auto Action

The RevLimiter podcast has been repackaged for 2023 with an expanded scope and the addition of two new voices.

The first episode is out now, unpacking all the drama and taking points on and off the track from the historic Gen3 Supercars debut at Newcastle.

Andrew Clarke is back for another year, and this year he’ll be joined by Auto Action stalwarts Paul Gover and Bruce Williams. With that kind of journalistic grunt providing the power, The RevLimiter will now stretch beyond Supercars into other classes of racing of interest to Australian motorsport fans.

Neville Wilkinson will continue to pull the strings behind the scenes with the occasional interjection to either stoke a fire or put it out.

“It is great to have people the calibre of Paul Gover and Bruce Williams joining us on the podcast,” Clarke said.

“It is a pull-no-punches show that only people with decades of experience and knowledge can deliver. I think it is the only place you will get the story warts and all.

“Not everyone from the teams and the sport will be happy with us each week, but we’ll deliver pats on the back just as much as we’ll hand out the whacks.

“This is now the show’s third season, and we have evolved with the climate each year. Now with Gen3 and all the goings-on from Newcastle, it is time to start telling a different and deeper story and go beyond just the racing. Last year we occasionally climbed into the top five sports podcasts in Australia; this year, with this cast and an expanded purview, I think you’ll see us there more often.”

Previously devoted only to Supercars, the trio will expand into other classes as the year progresses. Formula One with Oscar Piastri is another class that will feature, as will IndyCar, NASCAR, Sportscar, Rallying and anything else that has something to talk about in the world of motorsport.

“Auto Action has been covering this sport for longer than most of the fans have been alive. We have a great line-up of writers, and we’ll be drawing on all that experience with our people on the ground in all the major classes,” Auto Action’s Bruce Williams said.

“With Clarke and Gover, we have two of the heavyweights of the sport, and between the three of us, we’ll have some quite different views and, I hope, robust discussion. We won’t go out of our way to be controversial, but we will tell it as it is.”

The Auto Action RevLimiter will be ready for your trip to work every Wednesday morning, on your podcast app of choice.
