New Red Bull facility to bring the energy to Albert Park

By Thomas Miles

There will be some new additions enhancing the fan experience of the Rolex Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park next year.

A new facility developed by Red Bull and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation will bring one of the most premium experiences to the race.

The two-story Red Bull Energy Station is an open-fronted building located at Pit Exit on the approach to Turn 1 at the end of the main straight, replacing the Torque Bar.

Guests will be able to feast their eyes on Red Bull Racing and motorsport memorabilia inside the the undercover facility, which will also include a wide range of food and drink options.

On top of that, the location will also host appearances from the Red Bull Racing Team, plus Red Bull Gaming and live entertainment through well-known DJ’s.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation general manager sales and commercial Darian Misko said the Red Bull Energy Station enriches the range of experiences on offer for fans.

“We cannot wait to see the Red Bull Energy Station come to life at next year’s event,” Misko said.

“It will offer an incredibly unique F1 experience, but with limited tickets available you will want to get in fast.

“With an extensive choice of exclusive facilities, offering the best in hospitality and track viewing, next year’s Grand Prix will once again leave a lasting impression of glamour and excitement like no other event in Australia.”

In addition to the arrival of the Red Bull Energy Station, a new facility will also be included at the high-speed top end of the circuit.

As the name T8 Lakeside would suggest, the never-before-seen facility will be built on Turn 8 and showcase stunning views of the fast section of the circuit where cars fly through the right-handed sweeper at over 200kph, plus the Albert Park Lake and city skyline.

In total there will be 22 hospitality suites on offer around the 5.303km circuit.

Tickets for both the Red Bull Energy Station and the T8 Lakeside facilities are on sale now along with the rest of the weekend, which are selling at lighting speeds.
