Eseries ace Brodie Kostecki will return for the second season of the Supercars All Stars Eseries, while Jobe Stewart and Jarrad Filsell will compete for the team in the Pro Series.

This year the Supercars Championship will run two Eseries championships, one for the professional drivers and the other for pro gamers.

Last year Kostecki secured two second-placed finishes and a top 10 as a Wildcard in last year’s All Stars Eseries at Bathurst, while he also made an appearance in the Pro Series in November.

Kostecki expects the competition to be a lot tougher in 2021 as many more drivers are competing on simulators.

“The competition level is definitely a lot higher with the pro gamers versus the Supercar drivers but I think the competition amongst the Supercar drivers will be harder this year,” he said.

“Last year some of the drivers either didn’t have simulators or hadn’t raced that much on the sim before but now they have and they’ve enjoyed it.

“I think you’ll find that the drivers this year are going to be those who enjoy it and have picked it up as a hobby.

“I hope I can maintain my All Stars results from last time around, obviously last year I wasn’t full time, so it’ll be great to be racing consistently.”

Kostecki and Filsell will run the Boost Mobile Racing livery Kostecki currently features in the Supercars Championship, while Stewart will run the rolling sponsorship program as seen on Will Brown’s #9 ZB Commodore.

Both Stewart and Filsell return to the team in 2021, Stewart is an Erebus Academy driver, while Filsell is a pro-gamer and will both be contenders for the title this year in the Pro Series.

Filsell finished fourth in the standings last year after scoring five podiums and two wins across the six-round series.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge again this year,” Filsell said.

“It’s great to be pairing up with Boost Mobile and Erebus, hopefully I’ll be running at the pointy end more frequently this year.

“I drive around a lot with Brodie in our spare time and I’m also a coach for Virtual Racing School so that keeps me busy throughout the week doing data and setups for the community.”

Stewart claimed two podiums and four top 10s last year, but having not raced on track since February Stewart has competed in several sim racing events.

“I definitely feel more confident heading into this year’s Eseries, I’ve been sim racing a lot recently and have been getting some good results,” Stewart said.

“I’ve been taking the V8SCOPS series more seriously and really trying to use it as training for the Eseries.

“I’ve started to close the gap to the guys who were at the top last year and I believe I have a fairly good shot of doing really well.”

Both categories begin on Wednesday August 25 with all rounds broadcast on Fox Sports and Kayo and take place weekly across six rounds.
