Matt Campbell, Carrera Cup Australia champion, will start tomorrows Porsche Supercup race at Monza from pole position after qualifying was abandoned due to heavy rain.

The termination of qualifying, will now see the grid for tomorrows Supercup race determined from yesterday’s practice times, in which Campbell was fastest with a time of 1:50.552.

It’s Campbell’s fourth Supercup pole on his debut international season. With the race scheduled to start at 7.25pm (AEST) tomorrow evening.

After the Porsche Supercup round at Monza, Campbell will return to Australia next week to team up with Shane Van Gisbergen at Red Bull Holden Racing for the Pirtek Enduro Cup.
