FERRARI COMMIT TO SEBASTIAN VETTEL UNTIL 2020
Sebastian Vettel will remain with Ferrari until the end of the 2020 Formula 1 season after agreeing to a contract extension.
The announcement of Vettel’s new deal with the Maranello based team comes ahead of qualifying for this weekends Belgian Grand Prix. Also just one week after they committed to keeping Kimi Raikkonen for another year. Locking in Ferrari’s driver line up for next year.
This news comes off the back of confirmation the Vettel had been speaking with Mercedes during recent weeks. However, it now looks certain that they too will retain their current driver line up, with Valtteri Bottas expected to stay with the team for another year.
The F1 rumour mill will now turn it’s attention to Fernando Alonso, with Williams being suggested as a possible option for the two time Champion.
