KERRY MADSEN – AIMING TO KEEP AUSTRALIA #1

Kerry Madsen solidified his chances of retaining his Australia #1 mantle after an emphatic win last night at Night #1 of Valvoline Raceway’s hosting of the Rob Bowen’s Prestige Smash Repairs 55th Australain Sprintcar Championship.

Blasting past early leader Jordyn Brazier early on in the 30-lap A-Main, Madsen went on to win easily from the Sydney-based Warren Ferguson (who started 16th and put in the drive night ), and another championship favourite, Victoria’s Jamie Veal.

A good crowd was on hand for night #1 of the title-tilt, and tonight will see Night #2 being conducted before the big finale on Saturday night.
