2026 Supercars Silly Season, who is where and what is next

2025 Supercars enduro drivers

By Andrew Clarke

The 2026 Supercars Silly Season picture is sharpening, and the rumours were running around The Bend paddock like a rabbit crossing a road.

Here is how the grid is shaping up as teams lock in line ups and the final seats draw interest.

The established contenders are steady, with the six top teams already locked in for no driver changes next year. But outside those ranks it is all change.

As always, enduro form and sponsor alignments can still sway the final calls while contracts are completed. So what did we hear?

Let’s stary with PremiAir and its push to climb the tree. James Golding and Richie Stanaway are out, and it looks like Declan Fraser is set for a main game return alongside Jayden Ojeda. Fraser has been solid in the enduros since losing his Tickford drive when the Ford team dropped from four cars to two at the start of last season, and a return would allow the former Super2 champion to re-establish himself.

Ojeda has been one of the better endurance drivers in the Gen3 era, and team owner Peter Xiberras obviously feels he is worth a crack.

Erebus is keeping impressive series rookie Cooper Murray but is looking more likely to drop its young academy prospect Jobe Stewart into the other car with Jack Le Brocq headed back to Matt Stone Racing. Team boss Barry Ryan says no decision has been made and that he is looking at everyone without a contract, but you get the feeling he’d love to see what he could do with the young Mt Gambier driver.

Matt Stone Racing is a curious case, with the talk that both drivers are on the move. Race winner Cam Hill is likely headed to Albury with Brad Jones Racing, and Nick Percat isn’t receiving lots of praise, although a great drive at The Bend will help his quest to remain in the main game, but we hear that is less that likely.

Who would replace him is the mystery, but Golding’s name was mentioned a few times.

Bryce Fullwood is out at BJR for Hill in the #14 car, but there also appears a chance that Zach Bates may replace Jaxxon Evans in the SCT Logistics car… unless US-based driver Tommy Smith changes tac and swoops up the seat.

We have no clarity on Blanchard Racing Team. We know James Courtney is retiring, but we also head that Aaron Cameron hasn’t done enough yet to lock down a drive for next year. But we have heard little as to who the possible replacement drivers might be.

And that’s all we know… at the moment.
