Big news for Auto Action

By Auto Action

Fellow race fans, we are all in this together…

As one of the world’s oldest motorsport publications, here at Auto Action HQ we are constantly reviewing the best way to deliver our readers the highest possible quality motorsport news and features content.
The commercial reality, as you know, is that many motoring and racing titles around the world have disappeared. This month, Autosport which has been published since 1950 has changed from a weekly to a monthly format.
We too, need to respond to the commercial challenges of evolving readership demographics and tastes.

While we all love our 50+ years of covering motorsport here and overseas via our fortnightly newspaper, it’s time to shake things up and do things differently.

From this issue forwards, Auto Action’s fortnightly magazine will still have a traditional magazine feel and presentation but will be delivered in a digital only form.

If you haven’t yet flicked through the digital magazine, give it a go.

It’s best viewed on your iPad/tablet or computer, below are the links to the most recent couple of issues.

Don’t panic, we are not abandoning print – which is part of our DNA – but Auto Action in print will have a different look and feel and be more features based.

News still remains at our core, it’s just that that will be mainly delivered digitally: via the digital mag and website.

We’d like to hear from you about what you want more of, less of, and what we currently don’t cover, in a high-quality features publication. Please email us with your thoughts to: [email protected].

The Auto Action website – In addition to this, we are also growing the news content on the AA website, where the latest and breaking news will be current and living.

What does this mean for you? The traditional fortnightly Auto Action continues – free – but online only.
Changes to improve the content and functionality of our website – A printed features based, quality print magazine with unique content, frequency to be confirmed.
This is the start of a massive transformation for Auto Action. We’ve been planning this for a while, now is the time to flick the switch and deliver. In that process we want to hear from you, our most important stakeholders.

Existing fortnightly (print) subscribers will of course be prioritised and looked after, we’ll be in touch with you soon with our plans.
