Bathurst 12 Hour field set

By Thomas Miles

A 23-car field will battle for glory in the 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour at the end of the month with the entry list locked and loaded.

A total of 27 international drivers representing 15 countries will ensure the flavour of the “International Enduro” at Mount Panorama rings true.

There are six previous Bathurst 12 Hour winners returning including last year’s victors Matt Campbell and Ahyancan Guven, who hope to go back to back albeit at a different team.

The field has been recently boosted by yesterday’s announcements Team WRT BMW star and MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi and Triple Eight Supercars driver Broc Feeney have landed drives.

Seven GT3 Manufacturers are represented, the most represented since 2020 with Ferrari and Aston Martin returning.

But it is still a significant fall in entries with 30 cars starting the weekend in 2024.

Only one entry, the #111 Mercedes has a driver to fill.

The 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be held from January 31 to February 2.

“Amidst a congested global calendar, we have maintained the same number of GT3 entries as last year while adding two returning manufacturers to broaden the variety within the field,” said Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour Event Director Shane Rudzis.

“The depth of the field and the talent within is outstanding and there’s no doubt it’s going to provide another spectacular race.

“Interest for the race is high with a record number of campgrounds set to be filled, the grandstand is sold out and ticket sales are really motoring along, which is hugely exciting for all involved.

“We’re working closely with our partners at the Bathurst Regional Council and with the team at Meguiar’s to make this the best Bathurst 12 Hour yet.

“The eyes of the world will be on Mount Panorama, Bathurst next week as we launch into another chapter of Australia’s International Enduro.”
