Hazelwood and TFH to defend Trans Am title

Todd Hazelwood will race with the #1 and defend his Trans Am title in 2025 with TFH Racing.
Hazelwood and TFH Racing made history by being crowned champions in their rookie season in the category.
After finding their feet across the first three rounds, but being a podium contender, the duo broke through with victory at The Bend and did not look back.
Wins in seven of the final 12 races saw Hazelwood fly to the title, sealing it on his home circuit Adelaide.

With negotiations out of the way, Hazelwood confirmed his title defence by commenting on a TFH Racing post on social media and will race with the #1 on the door of his Mustang.
“Thanks for an incredible year TFH Racing,” Hazelwood wrote.
“Our results simply wouldn’t be possible without all the hard work, research and desire to win as a team.
“Cannot wait to do it all again next year, thanks team!”
Hazelwood said his connection with the team was a massive part of the championship success.
“The championship was definitely won in the workshop. There were battles on the track, but it came down to the mid-season push for us to turn things around and make it better,” Hazelwood told Auto Action after the title.
“At the start of the year I was excited to learn about the category and the car.
“I put in a lot of work to play catch up, but we did not know what we did not know.

“At the start of the year we were a bit rough and ready with a few mechanical dramas.
“It was not smooth sailing which makes it more special.
“Once I done the first two rounds and knew I would not be back in a Supercar until the enduros, I put a lot of focus and energy into how can we make this program into a winning one.
“We did a couple of test days and went through them very methodically and got a good handle on the set-up of the car.
“We went through every aspect of the car and analysed how we could make it better.”
The 2025 Trans Am season begins at Symmons Plains on March 22-23.
