Historic Sandown Thriving in Melbourne Sun

Historic Sandown is underway at one of Australia’s most historic race tracks, less than 20km outside the Melbourne CBD.

While the F5000s are the headline act, as they were in the mid-1970s, there are plenty of other cars in all forms to entice all the senses.

At any given moment in the pits, you can hear cars warming up of 1920s to 1980s vintage and four-cylinders to 12.
