Weel and Price ready for Baja 400 assault

After taking out a long-awaited and hard fought victory at the Baja 500 in June, the Team Australia truck led by Toby Price and Paul Weel is ready to go around again for the Baja 400.
With their shakedown having been completed for the September 10-15 event for the 5th running of the SCORE International Baja 400, the #46 Mason Motorsport Trophy Truck is ready for its gruelling outing on the Mexican Californian Peninsula.
Their first Baja 400 together in 2022 saw them finish fifth in a strong outing in a 2WD, before 2023 saw them switch to a more competitive AWD Chevy Silverado-Mason, where Price put them on pole before they finished up with a DNF.

A lot of heartbreak and mechanical woe has gone under the bridge since all that after they finally secured victory this year, and they’ll be hoping some of that “buena suerte” (good luck) alongside regular co-drivers co-drivers Kellon Walch and Preston Schmid.
They’ll also team up with American Brent Bauman again, who was alongside them as an experienced third driver for the Baja 500 win.
This year features a 424.96-mile (683.9 km) race course for the Pro Trucks and Cars, starting and finishing on Boulevard Costero adjacent to the iconic Riviera del Pacifico Cultural Center.
Also racing in the motorcycles on a KTM machine will be 23-year old Callum Norton of Mildura, Victoria for his first SCORE International event.
