World Time Attack Challenge roars to life

By Thomas Miles

The 2024 running of the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge has ignited at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Countless hours of preparation, engineering and science will be put to the test this Friday and Saturday as drivers try to fly around SMP as fast as possible or stun fans by drifting in a cloud of smoke.

Entrants in Haltech Clubsprint, GCG Open, Plazmaman Pro-Am, and Emtron Pro classes will do battle to run in the one perfect lap competition and chase glory.

The Garrett International Drifting Cup will be as hotly contested as ever with some internationally renowned names doing what they do best.

Some of Australia’s fastest cars will go doorhandle-to-doorhandle up the front straight in the Turbosmart Flying 500 Head-to-Head.

The Full Send Drift Crew, Hot Wheels stunt team, Mad Mike, and Rodin FZ open-wheeler will also provide plenty of entertainment for the fans in the stands.

Tickets can be purchased HERE whilst all the action can be viewed live on YouTube HERE
