Wait nearly over for Australian MotoGP tickets

By Thomas Miles

Tickets for the 2024 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island will go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, June 20).

MotoGP returns to the iconic fast and sweeping bends of the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on October 18-20.

All eyes will be on Jack Miller in his final home race for KTM with his future up in the air, but he will not be the only local hero.

Moto2 youngster Senna Agius will be looking to make a name for himself, while Joel Kelso hopes to back up his home heroics from last year and will also be joined by Jacob Roulstone in Moto3.

Fans keen to make their annual trek to see the world’s best on two wheels fly on the edge of Bass Strait can get their tickets this week.

Island Pass, Grandstand seating, Trackside Club, The Clubhouse, Campgrounds, Paddock Passes and Catch-a-Coach tickets are all set to go on sale to the public at 12:00pm AEST on Thursday, June 20.

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation has also announced for the first time free motorcycle parking will be available to all day visitors on each day of the event.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Travis Auld said they have tried to make the MotoGP “even more accessible.

“The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will be back bigger than ever this year with the event being the perfect opportunity to gather your friends and family, hit the road and enjoy Phillip Island and all the action on-track,” he said.

“We’re conscious of the rising costs of living and are working on ways to make our event more accessible, with the free motorcycle parking and a price freeze on Island Passes, benefits that we hope fans will love.”
