Fox/Kayo to broadcast Waters Truck return

By Thomas Miles

Motorsport fans can rejoice with Fox Sports already securing the rights to broadcast Cameron Waters’ return to NASCAR this weekend.

Waters’ second NASCAR Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway will be shown live on Fox Sports #505 on Foxtel and Kayo from 9.30 AEST this Sunday.

The broadcast will follow immediately after the Sky Sports F1 coverage from the Miami Grand Prix wraps up on Sunday morning.

Waters will again drive the TRADIE-backed, ThorSport Racing #66 having made his debut at the Martinsville Speedway in early April.

The Tickford Supercars driver showed strong speed in practice and qualifying and was chasing a top-20 result before being involved in a late crash.

The news will be a big boost for motorsport fans after Fox Sports scrambled to seal the broadcast rights at the last minute for Waters Truck Series debut.

But now fans can prepare to watch both the F1 and Waters in America during a big weekend of motorsport with Shane van Gisbergen’s NASCAR Xfinity Series having a break.

Waters is already in the USA preparing for the weekend ahead.

Brodie Kostecki was back for Erebus, Andre Heimgartner won for Brad Jones Racing, and Will Brown battled his teammate Broc Feeney for the other win. Anton De Pasquale also won the Jason Richards Trophy for the best performer over the two races – is Dick Johnson Racing back?
