BJR COG Supercars testing

By Auto Action

Brad Jones Racing has provided a fascinating insight into how Supercars staged the post Melbourne SuperSprint Centre of Gravity tests.

Ahead of the second season of Gen3, a series of aero changes were made to the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang in the search for parity and just like last year Supercars teams have undergone Centre of Gravity tests immediately after the trip to the Australian Grand Prix.

One car from each team travelled to the Dunlop facility in Melbourne to be put under the microscope on a forklift to start measuring the Centre of Gravity.

The Triple Eight #88 Camaro, Dick Johnson Racing #17 Mustang, Tickford Racing #55 Mustang, Brad Jones Racing #14 Camaro, PremiAir Nulon Racing #23 Camaro,  Erebus Motorsport #9 Camaro, Walkinshaw Andretti United #25 Mustang, Team 18 #20 Camaro and Penrite Racing #19 Mustang were the cars tested and the results will now be analysed by Supercars.

BJR team owner Brad Jones provides a deep insight into each step of the Supercars Centre of Gravity test.
