Image Racing and will return to the small Super3 field thanks to a new collaboration that will begin in round 2 at Wanneroo.
Tony Auddino is a Super3 stalwart having raced in the category in 2022, finishing 10th in the championship after making a one-off debut in 2021 at Bathurst.
His best result was fifth in the Sunday race of the 2022 trip to Townsville. Last year he raced in the former Kumho V8 Touring Car Series in a Ford BF Falcon and finished fifth overall.
Image Racing won the Super3 championship crown with Jobe Stewart in a VF Commodore with the Erebus Academy youngster now in Super2 and already turning heads.
Despite focusing on Super2 in the Bathurst opener, Image Racing led by Terry Wyhoon will return to Super3 with Auddino and engineering support from Erebus Motorsport.
It will be a big change for Auddino, who has been a long tome Ford Falcon driver but now he will jump ship to Holden.

The addition will be a very welcome arrival for Super3, which had just two cars at the Bathurst 500 season opener in February.
Cody Burcher and Thomas Maxwell were the only drivers in the category both driving Nissan Altimas and Burcher won both races.
Auddino will keep his usual #4 which used to be run by Erebus in its early Supercars days with Lee Holdsworth and Ash Walsh until 2015 after it became famous at SBR.
Auddino revealed there will also be assistance from Supercars champions Erebus and he is on the hunt for support with currently just the all-black livery.
“This car will be a collaboration between Auddino Racing and Image Racing with engineering support from Erebus Motorsport,” he wrote on social media.

'description' => 'The Supercars Championship, currently known as the Repco Supercars Championship, is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia\'s biggest sports. It originated from the Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), which held its first race in 1960 at Gnoo-Blas in Orange, New South Wales. The ATCC evolved over the years, and in 1997, it was rebranded as the V8 Supercars Championship, eventually becoming the Supercars Championship we know today.
Some of the leading drivers in the history of the Supercars Championship include Peter Brock, who is often referred to as the "King of the Mountain" for his nine victories at the Bathurst 1000, a race that is considered one of the biggest in the series. Other notable drivers include Dick Johnson, Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, who holds the record for the most championship titles, and Mark Skaife, who has also been a dominant force in the series.
The Bathurst 1000, held at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, is arguably the most famous race in the Supercars calendar. Other significant races include the Sandown 500 and the Adelaide 500, which are known for their challenging circuits and thrilling competitions.
The Supercars Championship has grown to become a globally recognized series, known for its competitive racing and passionate fan base. It continues to be a major part of Australia\'s motorsport culture, attracting top drivers and teams from around the world.',
