Orange F1 three-seater to thrill fans in Adelaide

Fans attending the 2023 Adelaide Motorsport Festival will have the chance to get a once-in-a-lifetime experience with a three-seater V10 Formula 1 car coming the Victoria Park circuit.
The Arrows A21 three-seater will complete a series of demonstration runs throughout the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, held from March 25-26. Fans also have the chance to win a hot lap in a soon to be launched giveaway.
The car on show features a comparable aerodynamic, engine and brake package to the Arrows A21 and can fit two passengers stationed either side behind the driver, providing fans with the closest experience possible to driving an F1 car.

The three-seater is powered by a 720-horsepower 3.5-litre hart V10 engine, which is the same specification as what was in the back of Arrows’ 2000 Grand Prix car, revving up to 15,000 RPM and reaching speeds of 330km/h.
It will look and sound just like the old days of the Adelaide Grand Prix, with the car still carrying similar bodywork and livery to 23 years ago.
The 2000 Formula 1 season was Arrows’ third to last as a squad, having been in operation since 1977 and folding after 2002.
It was the second year the British team then owned by Tom Walkinshaw, carried the bright and distinctive orange and black livery that is still fondly remembered.
Pedro de la Rosa and Jos Verstappen were the two drivers behind the wheel and pushed the team to its equal best constructors championship finish since 1988 of P7.

Both drivers recorded a pair of points finishes each with Verstappen achieving the highlight of the year at Italy.
As de la Rosa was sent flying into the air at the Roggia Chicane during a crazy start, Verstappen stayed out of trouble and finished an impressive fourth.
The orange Arrows joins a pair of 1989 Brabham BT58s, driven by Martin Brundle and Stefano Modena and a 1988 Arrows A10B Megatron, steered by Eddie Cheever, which will also be putting on a show at Victoria Park.
More Formula 1 cars, touring cars, sports cars, rally cars and headline acts will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The 2023 Adelaide Motorsport Festival will take place from March 25-26.
