Supercars has confirmed the pitlane order allocations for the 2022 season.

For the upcoming season, Triple Eight Race Engineering have reclaimed the first boom position courtesy of claiming the team’s championship in 2021.

Dick Johnson Racing reverts one position back down the lane back to second in the order to where it was positioned in 2019 and 2020.

Tickford Racing maintains its position as the third and fourth bays in the pitlane order across its four entries in 2022. The combined efforts of Cameron Waters and James Courtney scored those two entries third in the team’s championship last year.

Making the biggest move towards pit exit this year is Walkinshaw Andretti United, who move up to the fifth bay ahead of Erebus Motorsport, Brad Jones Racing (two bays, four entries), Team 18, Grove Racing and Matt Stone Racing.

PremiAir Racing take the second to last position following the ownership change of the team previously known as Team Sydney.

While the single-car entry of the Blanchard Racing Team drops the furtherest down the order after being relegated to the closest position to pit entry after previously being attached to Tickford.

With no team to partner with, BRT will also have to bring extra personnel to rounds this season.

The new pit lane order will debut when the 2022 Supercars Championship gets underway with the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight on March 4-6.
