The Red Bull energy drinks company has been announced as the title sponsor of the 2021 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

The Red Bull Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix as it will be known, is scheduled to be the third from last event of the 2021 MotoGP World Championship and is set to take place at the picturesque Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from October 22-24.
Red Bull has signed a long-term contract with MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports to be the title sponsor of several MotoGP rounds until the end of 2024.
Red Bull has been a sponsor within motorsport for decades, supporting machines in Formula 1, Supercars, the World Rally Championship and MotoGP just to name a few.
They have also sponsored various other championships and events, and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is the latest sporting event the energy drinks company has got behind.
It will mark the first time that Red Bull has sponsored the Australian Grand Prix after Pramac Generac sponsored the event in 2019 and Michelin in 2017 and 2018.
The managing director of Dorna Sports Pau Serracanta is delighted that Red Bull has jumped on board to sponsor the Australian round.
“The Australian Grand Prix is always a classic,” he said. “To see Red Bull take top billing will be an honour for MotoGP.
“In these unprecedented times, working together to find the perfect solution for both parties is the cornerstone of any successful partnership.
“The collaboration between Red Bull and Dorna goes back to 2005 and continues to go from strength to strength.
“We have been co-organisers of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup for 15 years, and Red Bull is a vital part of the MotoGP eSport Championship, Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup and the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, as well as our broadcast partner in Austria and Germany: ServusTV.
“I’m delighted to announce another addition to our portfolio of shared success with this agreement to title sponsor the Australian Grand Prix in 2021.”
In MotoGP Red Bull sponsors the factory Honda squad as well as both KTM teams.
The 2021 Australian Grand Prix will be Aussie Jack miller’s best chance yet of winning his home event as he rides the factory Ducati for the first time this season.
